Leg cramps are usually related to circulatory changes, pressure on the nerves in your legs, or low calcium. Here are some suggestions to may offer relief:
Walk. It helps relieve the cramping.
Stand with your legs straight and then bend your toes toward your head without bending your knees.
Elevate your feet when resting, if possible, at home and at work.
For leg cramps, flex your ankles and toes slowly while massaging your
calf.
Avoid tight clothing.
If home, try soaking your feet in hot water.
Wear low heeled shoes.
Rest. Especially if you stand for long hours during the day.
If pain persists, speak with your docotr or midwife about calcium or
magnesium additions to your diet.
