Braxton Hicks Contractions During Pregnancy

These contractions are mild, painless uterine contractions usually start sometime after the 20th week of pregnancy. Some women never notice the contractions at all. If they cause discomfort, try changing positions. As you get closer to the time of delivery, these contractions may become stronger and more noticible. If contractions start coming at regular intervals, notify your health care provider.
