Baby shower games can actually get a lot accomplished if you know how to turn small tasks into competition. Many parents have a lot of furniture and other baby items that need to be assembled or put together when the baby shower is held. Instead of shoving these things in the corner of the nursery to be, have your party guests get in on the fun of creating things for your bundle of joy.

Putting It All Together
If you have several items such as a crib, a bassinet, high chairs, a portable crib, or other furniture divide your guests into as many groups as you have items that need to be assembled. Then, make it a competition! Tell each group that the first group to properly put together their baby item that they will each wins a prize! Not only will your guests have fun putting together the baby items, they’ll make getting ready for baby that much easier! Any time there is competition or a possibility of a prize, people will work!

This game can be played with as many players as you have, although groups of two to six people generally work best. Be sure that each group has items such as hammers, screwdrivers, or wrenches so that they can compete to the best of their ability. Remind your guests that the items need to be put together safely, as baby will be using them. The expectant parents will have a good time watching their work being done for them!
