A quick easy game similar to a Lotto Card. This is a great baby scratch offs game for guests that have been to a million baby showers and want something quick and fun. We all know daddies have a hard time taking care of babies when mommy is away. The graphic shows a crying baby being held by a crying daddy… And the card says What does Daddy need to help Baby stop crying? Is it a diaper, a fresh bottle, a rattle? No, those are all the loser cards! Who will get the winning card? Mommy! Of course! What does daddy need to get? Mommy. And she is one super-cool mommy, designed with a diaper bag in one hand, a cell phone, a briefcase, a bottle…etc, all while wearing a suit and pumps.
(Each set comes with 25 cards [24 losing cards and 1 winning card] which is placed on top of the pkg.)
(1 set per pkg.)

This is a good game for large groups of people or for as few as 6. You’ll have to think and be creative with your answers, because if you are the one to give it away, then you’ll be “it” next. This is a great last minute game too, because it doesn’t require any props.
To play, have one person leave the room. The rest of the group tries to come up with something they all have in common. It could be that they all have hair or live in the same town. The person returns and goes around the room asking, “What’s yours like?” Another question and title for the game is “How’s yours?” Either way, the person asked the question responds truthfully, but with a clever enough answer that they don’t give it away. For example, if using hair as the common thread, then the first person could answer “unmanageable.” The next person may simply say “red.” If you were to say curly or blonde, it might give it away too easily. You can also choose abstract traits that you have in common, which makes it more difficult. For example, loyalty, where the answers could be, “unfailing,” “wavering,” or “tested.”

This racing game has winners getting to the doctor before their water breaks! It is an especially good game for parties that are outdoors and involved all family members and friends of different age, including children.
Fill several balloons with water. Each person runs to the end of the course where the “doctor” (host) is waiting. If you can get there without your balloon of water breaking you win. You could do this as a team relay race with as many balloons as team members.

Even though this is a traditional baby shower game, it is always good for a laugh and an ideal way to get your guests mingling. If you have family and friends from both sides of the family who don’t know each other really well, this game will help break the ice.
Give each guest a clothes pin at the beginning of the party. Instruct them that they may not use the word “baby” for the next hour. If they do say the forbidden word, the person who hears her gets to take her clothes pin. If someone has earned other clothes pins and says the word “baby” then the person catching her gets all of her clothes pins. The person with the most clothes pins on them after 1 hour wins.
A variation of this game may be to use other words such as “labor” “delivery” “diapers” or any other baby-related word. You could also use safety pins instead of clothes pins.
