Was just wondering if there are any pregnant military wives around here. My husband is in the Army going on his 4th year. He has served 1 tour in Iraq. He actually just came home in january from Iraq, amd I got pregnant that same week, hahahahaha. Our miracle baby. Well ;ladies, let me know...

Default Military

Hi, My husband is going on his third year in the Army. He will be going to Iraq sometime in October for the first time. I am almost 9 weeks pregnant and I'm not liking the timing of his deployment all that much.

Yes, my husband is deploying in late November or December and I am now 10 weeks pregnant. We are dual military so that leaves me with some tough decisions, but hopefully will keep me from going crazy while he is away. It breaks my heart to know that he will miss the first 8-9 months of his child's life! I feel like I am alone and like this has never happened to anyone before, even though I know it has. As a Soldier and the spouse of a Soldier I know that neither job is easy, leaving or staying at home.

I know what you mean. I have never been through exactly the same situation as you, but I have been through a trialing time as well. Last year my husband deployed in feb. and i was 2 mnths pregnant, and about 4 or 5 days after he deployed I miscarried. It was my first pregnancy, and I felt all alone. They wouldnt send my husband to b home with me or n e thing. It was the most horrible thing I had ever been through. My husband came home from iraq jan. of this year, and to my surprise I had gotten pregnant the first week he was home. Now i am 32 wks pregnant.

Also, i know a couple that is in a situatin more similar to yours. They were both military, and the husband had been deployed for a year, well after he was home for about a year his wife had gotten orders to deploy for a year to Korea. Alos they have to little girls. I hope things go good for you. Keep your head up and stay strong. Support your husband as much as u can while he is gone.

well i am a pregnant military wife but i don't live in cali. I live in texas, but being pregnant while they are gone is very tough. Greg is active duty in the Navy and has been in Bahrain since I was 11 weeks pregnant, I am now 29 weeks pregnant. and what makes it harder is that I am active duty Coast Guard. I am really scared that he is not going to make it home in time for the birth of our first child.
